Common questions

How do I sign in?

Open Octodoge, go to the Profile tab, and tap Sign In. You will be redirected to GitHub to authorize the app, then returned to Octodoge.

How do I sign out?

Open the Profile tab and tap Sign Out. This removes your access token from your device.

Why does Octodoge need repo access?

Octodoge requests GitHub repo and user scopes so you can browse private repositories and perform actions such as starring repos and following users. See the privacy policy for details.

Is Octodoge affiliated with GitHub?

No. Octodoge is an independent app built by Ilias Karim. GitHub® is a registered trademark of GitHub, Inc.
